Faktion are very proud to present a release party for Berghain 02, the first commercially available mix CD from Berghain resident, Hardwax employee and hugely respected producer, Marcel Dettmann. The mix is designed to reflect the forward thinking yet classic techno sound that Berghain has become known for, pulling together fresh cuts from T++, Radioslave and Norman Nodge with timeless classics from Risque Rhythum and Strand, to paint a vivid image of what techno is in 2008. Marcel will be joining us to deliver a 2 hour set of techno advancements usually reserved for the hedonists at Berghain, a chance not to be missed!

Fresh from rocking the best parties from Berlin to Japan, DJ Miles will be providing support with a bag full of Modern Love specials and party guaranteed techno.

The chumps from the Spandex Valley Soundsystem will be warming up with a raw Chicago house trip while our residents the Faktion Refinery Unit will fill in the gaps with some synonymous dancefloor freshness.

Zoology Psy Trance @ Club 414 - Friday 6th June 2008 with Man With No Name and m
This is it, the first ever. Zoology Psy Trance

Since our first party nearly 7 years ago we've always supported Psy Trance with all the DJs being big fans of the sound since the mid 90's. For the first time ever though we dedicate the whole party to the sound of Psy Trance.
We wracked our brains long and hard to think of a suitable star guest for this event and we decided to look at one of the pioneers of the Psy Trance scene and another DJ who has had a tune in the charts that is playing for Zoology. Man With No Name. Older viewers will remember him from his tracks on Dragonfly and Perfecto Fluro with tracks like Floor Essence, Teleport, Paint A Picture and Lunar Cycle to name a few. We're honoured to have him along for Zoology and he'll be delivering a two hour set of classic as well as new material from himself.
We also have rising star Andy Forse who is impressing a lot of people with his sound at the moment.
All this alongside your Zoology Residents Latex Zebra, B.S.E, RedCaT (returning from the USA for this party), Markus Buhmann, Matt Dahl and last but not least Jim Wild.

What a party this promises to be!

So that is why you're getting plenty of notice.

For the after party we have a back2back special of Phil Lankester along with Zoology resident Jim Wild, both are really pushing the Psy sound at the moment so expect a set to keep you dancing till it's time for breakfast. We also have Ped, another DJ known around these parts who is also playing quite a bit of Psy Trance at the moment. Last but not least is Zoo2 resident Adam Symbiosis.

Liquid Ross began DJing in 1998 at the warehouse parties of London and Kent.. and is the head behind some of the UKs most legendary events and organisations including Liquid Connective, Liquid Records, The Synergy Project and more recently Alpha Omega.. Within a couple of years Liquid Ross was playing mainroom sets at the UKs top nights from Antiworld, TIP, Twisted, Kundalini, Alchemy, Twisted, Tribe of Frog, Cabbage, Liquid and more ... playing deep full on psychedelic trance..also he plays deep progressive and ambient psy dub.
and soon after hit the international circuit playing to audiences of up to 10,000 across Australia, Mexico, USA, India, South Africa, Egypt and most of Europe .. playing mainstage slots at Time and Space (Mexico) Rainbow Serpent (Australia) Earthdance (Holland/London) Glastonbury Festival (UK) along side artists like System 7, Hallucinogen, GMS, Logic Bomb, Eat Static, Raja Ram, X Dream, Shpongle and more.
Ross has also spent his time working as an event organiser for TIP and more recently Twisted Records.
