Folktronica @ the inSpiral lounge
The Folktronica events gather some of the most intriguing artists from various contemporary undergroung music scenes such as Nu-Gazer / Post Rock / Nu-Jazz / Fusion / Glitch / IDM / Glitch-Hop / Dubstep / Minimal which are all considered by many critics to be the most avant-garde contemporary musical movements of the moment. Folktronica will bring to InSpiral a special appearance of artists from the the US based record label Native State Records
Rena Jones - (Native State Records)
A multitalented composer, producer, audio engineer, sound designer, violinist, cellist, and vocalist, Rena Jones has been described as "The revered daughter of San Francisco's electronic music scene" -- OEM Radio.
Rena Jones live sets are a potent sonic session. She orchestrates her cello and violin over hand crafted beats melding the organic with the electronic. Her performance is a sophisticated example of the modern movement in electronic dance and ambient music.

Nalepa - (Native State Records)
LA-based electronic musician, multimedia artist and mad scientist collector Steve Nalepa combines deep dub bass, glitchy breaks, bioacoustic atmospheres and beautiful sinewave melodies to create his patented brand of ambient glitch dub. Known for his vast and eclectic array of artistic collaborators —cultivated and acquired through years of producing spectacular audiovisual events and sharing bills with some of the worlds best electronic musicians — Nalepa is considered a key node in the west coast audiovisual scene and holds the appropriate title of Flavorpill’s “beat guru”.
