    Default Cubase SX3 Mixdown

I have been trying to mix down some stems of what I am working on in Cubase so I can bring them into Ableton. Every time I mix them down though each different stem is out of sync compleatly, in fact they come out at totally different lengths:

The sample rates are all 44100,, bit-rates are the same.

I really can't understand why it's doing this
I hope it's not something stupidly obvious.

    Have you turned off auto-warping?

In the audio channels in Ableton?
It doesn't make any difference it seems... Or are you talking about something else?

Prefernces > Audio > turn off "audio warping"

Selecte all Stems at once > Hold down Control / Alt / windows (im not sure its Cmd on my machine)

Drag them all into the arrange and they should all be in perfect sync

In case you're interested, this is what's happening. When auto-warping is enabled, every stem you import is run through Ableton's analysis to determine BPM for the warp markers. It'll probably get the kick and percussion mostly right, but any lead stems that have no discernible beat will confuse the hell out of it, hence it'll be warped in all kinds of strange manners.

In addition to that all those analytics (spits, but this is the right word) gobbles RAM - maybe this isn't an issue for you if you are lucky - but Albeton 8's ram usage actually proved terminal for me.

I Ableton, I have auto warp off as standard - you can always turn it on for a part any time you need it - but its a step over the line of what I want a sequencer to do. Your mileage may vary.
