I was replying while you edited, but just wanted to say...
I'll consider your other additional points and report back if I have any further comments or queries.
So in short, women dont hassle for gigs as much as men?
For what its worth, Aphex Twin now performs live (semi-live. Its a contentious point) with a lady. I think its his missus. But she is not written down on any of the blurb about being there. They just get on with it.
Oh god, I just did a FHF blurb in response to your previous edits - I might send you a PM instead of posting it here as I do not want to detract from Sam's work and bore the shite out of everyone. I'll just bore you instead.
May I ask what you think is wrong with DJ culture already? I'm not suggesting the lack of women is the biggest issue - I'm unqualified to say either way - but would be interested in anything you have to add, whether it is pertains to women in the business or indeed other issues as you see them.
there's very little right with dj culture. My views on them are similar to my views on musicians
ok, so we are groovy and right on here. Of course. So im gunna start posting ladies rocking it
Volvox rocks it hard. Acid.
deep techno/electro vibe from Bruna
as i remember them i will post more
THe short answer:
vānitās f (genitive vānitātis);
vanitas vanitatum ― vanity of vanities
falsity, falsehood, deception, untruth, untrustworthiness, fickleness
edit: you know what i mean. Its not exclusive, but you did ask me what i dont like about dj & music culture
A mix by one of my fav lady producers.
