Ableton Live - USB Keyboard

I cant get my keyboard to work :iconfused

well it does work, Live registers the keyboard ok, and it even reacts when I hit keys, but for some reason Synths dont play when I use the keyboard, I can see its working as the 'LED' display shows it, but I dont get any sound, the synths work if I use their built in screen keyboard, but I cant really play that in real time lol

Any ideas? :isad:

What do you mean by the synths don't play?? That there is no sound when you press down a key on a connected midi channel?? Go to 'Live' then 'Preferences' and try connecting manually. What keyboard are you using, does it have plug and play??

itz an evolution M449c, USB, so yep plug n play, didnt have any problems with it on my other puter, just plugged in and worked

Yep, when I press a key on the keyboard it doesnt play, although live does register the keypress, nothing comes out, using the onscreen keyboard it playz fine :iconfused

theres a little circular button next to the solo and mute buttons that when pressed (it will then go red) will allow u to play notes in real time.
