The Govt doesn't want us to know the details of George Bush's plans to bomb the al-Jazeera headquarters in Qatar.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,1648590,00.html

Having bombed the al-Jazeera stations in Kabul and Baghdad, who would now believe that those bombings were "accidents"?

As if I need to remind you, the allies say they're fighting for freedom. Not from where I'm standing.

It's incidents such as these that prompt me to say the allies are no better than the insurgents, or even worse, the terrorists.

R.I.P. Freedom of speach...

Hugs,

Barclay

would that be in the same way an iranian airbus was "accidentally" identified as an iranian F14 by the US navy and then shot down?

the only thing i am left wondering these days is when the people will finally decise to wrest the power away from their governements by taking matters into their own hands - whenever that day comes im right in there with them i can promise you - i for one had had enough of the establishment - and not entirely over taking us into an illegal war because the day isnt so far away now when i will post on here just what i have been up to with playing a quite serious game with the establishment over this past year

Well Dave, no one, but no one is going to shut me up. Incitement to terror or no, I WILL continue campaigning for values that are the basic right of every person on the planet.

If that gets me into trouble, so be it. Enough is enough.

Hugs,

Barclay

Indeed, and when spec. ops. guys are getting caught with bomb-making equipment, and anti-tank weapons, etc., it is becoming extremely hard to tell the difference... (if there ever was one)

Roadside bombs made out of "leftover munitions" that are capable of flipping an M1A1 on its back?
i don't think so...

It would be a really, really stupid move if they do it.

Well, the stuff about the spec. ops, guys is very well documented - the Basra police station incident.
The stuff about the roadside bombs, is a little less well documented, but i will dig out links and post then as soon as i can....

from the new statesman link

"When the police tried to stop them," he said, "[they] opened fire on the police and passers-by. After a car chase, they were arrested. What our police found in the car was very disturbing - weapons, explosives and a remote-control detonator. These are the weapons of terrorists."

and then further into the same article

Two impressions are the result: that Iraqis' right to resist an illegal invasion - a right enshrined in international law - has been usurped and de-legitimised by callous foreign terrorists, and that a civil war is under way between the Shias and the Sunnis.
