Even reading that sounds good!

DID I JUST PISS MYSELF?

Ohh mummy i need my nappy changed.

Talamasca track sounds great and well worth the CD price on its own......look forward to its release :)

Is it still Altom with their 'new sound?' Perhaps so.... Does sound really good though, top artists.

is the "new sound" the sort of thing that was on groove control? I found that really dull and formulaic, every track sounded almost the same

saikosounds have samples up (4min each too :))........only had time to listen to two of em tho - tikal and talamasca......tikal sounded shiiiiiiite - talamasca track sounded like it could be his best in ages........interested to hear the silicon issness.....will get round to it when me pc at home is fixed.....it's fucked at the mo :(

Neurobiotic records presents its new compilation "Groove controllers", compiled by Altom.
Alexis and Thomas (Altom) gathered to put together a compilation containing fresh unreleased material from the hottest acts of the moment.
It takes off with a collaboration between Silicon Sound (which album is going to be released on Neurobiotic records later this year) and Sirius Isness, pure morning glory. Following we find a new track from Altom, pumping, melodic and groovy as usual.
Space Cat is one of the pioneers of this music, and this track shows why he’s still on top. Perfect blend of Altom and Space cat style, is a must for every morning set. Talamasca needs no introduction, his sets are always one the main attractions of all festivals and parties, kicking full on with cedric’s crazy melodies.
Tikal, from the Neurobiotic rooster, shows us a new morning delighter… Melodies and killer samples are their trademark!
After another Altom new bomb, comes an exciting collaboration between 2 of the most talked artists of the moment: Wrecked Machines and Joti Sidhu made this track under the brazilian sun and it’s going to be one of the most played tracks of the next few months…
Last track, is a new candy from the latest addiction to Hommega artists’ collective, X-NoiZe. Many people talking about them and this track explains why…

quick capsulated review. some good, some okay, and 1 bad (joti and wrecked machines, just didn't do it for me)

really liking the x-noise track "Drum and Chase" and "Blue" by Altom

1. Silicon Isness - Inside My Head
I had big expectations of this collaboration and it lives up to most of them. Both Sirius Isness and Silicon Sound use their skills to good effect. Steady beat and bassline. Nice progression of trance layers. Vocal strobe (I've a soft spot for those). Not a standout track but very likeable.
2. Altom - Blue
Nice and easy track. Takes your mind away (and your attention at work). Lovely mid-section. Quite choral sounding trance with good twanging. Standout track of the album.
3. Altom - Not For Children (SC Remix)
Solid track with firm beat. Keeps the ears busy with its layers. Small but lush vocal.
4. Talamasca - Psykick X-Perience
I love the track name and it delivers just what it says, a nice bouncing psy-kick. Reminds me of Infected Mushroom during their 'Gathering' sound. This twip-twop-twaps all over the place with its main trance rhythm.
5. Tikal - Infected
A very typical sounding Tikal track. If you like their stuff you'll like this. Usual strong use of samples thoughout. I like the mid-section drop in tempo. Weak sample used to bring everything back and weak finish. I do have a soft spot for Tikal at the moment but that could've ended stronger.
6. Altom - Cobra
Tikal's weak finish follows into the start of this track. Gets its groove back after the drop. Nice strong finish to get the album going again.
7. Altom - Spray (Shanti RMX)
Great vocal effect. Not much else to say about this track.
8. Wrecked Machines Vs Joti Sidhu
Rolling bassline with dramatic lead in. Another solid sounding track with quiet mid-section.
9. X-NoiZe - Drum and Chase
X-NoiZe seem to be the perfect vehicle for closing compilations on a strong note. Growling bassline, twip twoppy rhythm and some lovely layers. Perfect sample at the drop kicking in with a stomping beat. Good track.

Overall a solid compilation from Altom. Neurobiotic have some decent high flyers under them at the minute. Standout track is between Altom (Blue) and Talamasca. I'm going to go for a 8.5/10
Can't wait for some more Neurobiotic releases - Silicon Sound, Tikal, X-NoiZe

really?

i thought Joti and Wrecke Machines sounded like paul van dyk.

joti is always rocking so i can't really see what hand he had in this....and wrecked machines went down hill since he became another GMS clone

*sigh* whatever happened to innovation.
