Backing Up CDs

Just wondering what is the best way to back-up my cds on to my computer so I can rewite them back to cd incase of scratching or loosing the originals. Is it possible to do this without loosing any quality?

*Not for file-sharing whatsoever*

Look for CloneCD ;)
 
Nero has an option to write complete CD images to hard disk so you can burn a duplicate. Not tried it with audio though.

I have - works fine :D - just as a personal backup tho.
 
Nero is good - Alcohol 120% is better, though. Not only can you burn images of CD's to your hard drive, but you can also play them via Alcohol. It creates a virtual CD drive and mounts the image on it.

I do this with all my game CD's so I only actually use each CD once - thereafter I use the virtual CD.

Prefer DaemonTools for mounting images myself. Also has the advantage of emulating various copy protection methods.

Doesn't allow you to copy CDs though. Only mount images.

Taa mate Alcohol looks like just the thing I was looking for. :D
