BT, Logic and Time Correction

hey dood - i forgot you had an xtc...

basically after a few chats with the creamware guys in the states I've decided when i get the beast up and running again(waiting on a new hard drive) that i'm gonna give sfp a go properly. I've had all the issues you've mentioned with xtc mode in logic as well... basically xtc mode has not been fully or properly implemented - leaving a few issues to sort out... the creamware card is best run in sfp mode, where you've got far less bugs and it seems like most of the creamware pros are..

the sfp is basically like logic's environment and if you understand how midi and audio work on your daw you will have no problems with it..

it's essentailly a mixer, you route midi signals into it from your sequencer and back so you can run it together with your sequencer :-) (plus you'll be able to run all your audio apps without having to shut down cubase)

www.planetz.com is the best for all creamware bits... there's lotsa threads on there about getting into sfp

another thing with creamware - coz they're big beasts you gotta be sure that you've got enuf power, the mb isn't getting too hot and also that your irq settings are all ok..

good luck
