Nope, this section runs on a lot of good-natured sarcasm and ribbing. Being geeks it's just the way we are - somewhat socially inept. ;)

Don't take anything said on here too seriously - but a lot of the advice is very good.

I'd be intrested to know if you find any Bukboy.
I haven't looked but I wouldnt be surprised if there are some sites in German since a lot of the bands and labels are based there.

If anyone is curious/interested, Soman is an awesome EBM band with some close links to psy. Check out tracks "Mask" or "Eye to Eye". Or if that's too "light" try Xotox... :icool:

www.side-line.com

The "General" section is best to stay away from, but the "Techforum" section is great. A lot of the biggest names in EBM/industrial post there (regular posters include Daniel Myer from Haujobb, Seb Komor from Icon of Coil, and plenty of Metropolis artists..). Actually it's a sort of in-joke that everyone who posts on side-line has an EBM project on an independant label (including myself)...funny 'cause it's true..

But seriously let's just start the Electro Body Music discussion here :) Fuck these purists! :P

oooo, yes :iyes: Two extremely good recomendations there! saw both of them play live at slimes a couple of years back, and have to say they both knocked my socks off! Soman is particularly good at the melodic stomp thing, and xotox was just brutal, excellent stuff indeedly :iyes:

About a million years ago I was in an EBM duo called Electro Assassin - anyone remember us?

(actually I seem to remember this came up before...)

BLIMEY NECRO ALERT
This lack of credit was due to sourness, resentment and basic human peevishness. Sorted out years ago...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electro_Assassin

the reason this came up after so long is that I saw that the other guy in EA is making tunes again...can't find them yet
