you can find them at brodie and middleton 
I got mine from there, they have pigments which is good to make your own paint. It is good to get pigments so you can adjust the density of the paint and be able to paint in 1 layer rather than 5
Though cant say they are cheap, you ll need to get the different colored pigments and also some emulsion glaze to mix them.
To mkae the paints simply mix the pigment with water and add emulsion glaze and stir really well.

hey, try www.economyofbrighton.com (lots of amazin thingz!!) go 2 list of products then paint then u.v reactive the do ready mix or powder it costs less than a fiver for a kilo the colours are basic though. you should buy a thing of pva glue to mix in to the paints. for powder paint mix 50/50 of water and glue. as your just starting out it might be good to buy really cheap paint,but when you become a pro try www.rosco.com oh and have a look at www.visualbliss.co.uk very cool!! have fun painting!!
