Anything by Steve roach.

I'm dreadful with ambient. I listen to stillstream quite a fair bit and have heard some truly amazing works, but I'm always too lazy to check the tracklisting. Great hyperspace fodder though :)

As this thread is proving more popular than I thought, i've ammended post one (and will continue to do so), adding people's recommendations on the radio side of things :)
 


Found this on psyjukebox - Ovnimoon is one of my fav progressive artists and I was intrigued to see what his ambient set was like. Pleansantly it wasn't of the usual dub, psybient (not that there's anything wrong with those styles) but a proper beatless ambient set.

+1 for Still Stream too - I'd forgotten about that one

I only recently found out that OvniMoon did Prog/Psy.
....Always known him as an Ambient artist!!
(heard DJ Mikado from Chai Shop Media, play him on his ambient radio show quite a lot)
