Not Really A Review but a Request Really:

Do you know the (REAL) tracklisting for the Dynamic Next Generation Compilation CD?
The tracklisting printed on the cover doesn't line up with the Audio CD.
This is the tracklist Printed on the back:

1 DYNAMIC DYNAMIX REMIX
2 GMS VS POLI UNIVERSAL
3 PROTOCULTURE PEEKABOO
4 ALIEN PROJECT MAIA
5 ESKIMO THE POPCORN
6 PSYDROP ZONE X REMIX
7 STAR-X RESTART
8 Z-MACHINE FLOATING
9 BEAT HACKERS STOLEN
10 DYNAMO SPUN DRY

I have heard some of these tracks previously and they don't have the correct track numbers:

Dynamic Dyanamix Remix (Track 1 on Listing, Track 9 on CD).
Protoculture Peekaboo (Track 3 on Listing, Track 5 on CD).
Alien Project Maia (Track 4 on Listing, Track 7 on CD).

It is all wicked blasting trance, so it don't really matter who made it, but it helps when making up set lists etc... Or knowing which artist albums to buy.

Anyone got this CD or got any ideas, on the real tracklisting??

As A Review, If you like Fast Pace Israeli Stylee, then it is cool, Track 1, 4, and 9 are my Fav's (but I don't know who they are! ;) ) It isn't really groundbreaking in anyway just good quality mixing material.

Answered my own question... Thanx to a kind geezer from Phonokol!

For Anyone else who buys it the real tracklisting is:

1. Beat Hackers – Stolen
2. GMS And Poli – Universal
3. Psydrop – Zone X – Natural Remix
4. Eskimo – The Popcorn
5. Protoculture – Peekabo
6. Star X – Restart
7. Alien Project – Maia
8. Z Machine – Floating
9. Dynamic – Dynamix remix
10. Dynamo – Spun Dry

L8rs. ;)

...and the track listing on Psyshop differs to both your listings too  I mean what the bloody hells going on here then?? Seems like a pix n mix type call the tunes what you want type CD :lol1:

Can't comment on the tunes as i've only heard Maia which is great, but as you say nothing new :peace:

Thanks for the info, I only noticed the Popcorn tune

Apart from that dodgy sample, I like this CD.

Standard neo psy Israeli fodder with the usual Astrix bassline on most tracks. No stand-out tracks but good danceable tunes nonetheless.

Would recommend Pop Stream and Psycraft over this though ;)

Love Peekaboo, definately gonna get an airing at next Stereo Chemistry

I heard dynamic's set and was impressed with the tunes....

However i found this cd lacking. There was nothing for me to get excited about. Having bought it i expected more. The best tune was the eskimo tune but following the rumours of him nicking stuff of others i have changed my view of him.

Altogether i feel that some of the psy-trance compliations can be a little uninventive and this was a classic case. I like to see new stuff out there, with so many artists i believe that for an album to be really good it needs to bring some sounds and ideas that havent yet been over used.

Anyway the album is alright and thats about it!

There is so much more out there which is definately more worth while listening too...

e.g. Menog -natural behaviour

Sorry eskimo but i think that your boat has sailed.....

Eskimo's boat has sailed. Classic.
:lol1:

He's only on a Raft though and up a creek with it!

He's so young, theres soo much time for him to get incredibly infused woith the dancefloor.

As for this, I can't help but imagine my boredom witht the VB1 bass lines.

IT'S no secret any more. Get some live bass or something. ANYTHING!

Zaven I'm starting to notice all over the threads that your a really big fan of the VB1, cant get enough of em I understand, best thing since.... ;)

love this one Z-MACHINE FLOATING phat never heard of this guy but its right up my street :P

can't wait for the Dynamo album they finshed the comp of great :bananada:
