Is the Entheogenic remixes album any good? I have Ground Luminosity on CD but wasnt overly impressed by it. I notice that the new remix album has mixes by Vibrasphere and Ott amongst others, so can't be that bad (?). Here I go again expecting too much :o)

bloody good -- there's a review thread in the music section of this board

Non of the remixes are as good as the original Entheogenic tracks but isn't that often the case with remix albums.

Yes I agree, but I didnt think that original Entheogenic tracks werent that 3 dimensional in the first place. I mean its OK and some remix albums are obviously good money spinners for their respective labels. Im particularly intrested, ( as Ott & Vibrasphere make some contributions) but unsure whether to order it or not.

Its possible I know to listen to sound samples, but doesnt always give an accurate representation of the album. Still I'll go on word of mouth or may pop to Gothic Image/Changing World shop in Glastonbuty town (a highly recommended little record shop to visit). Or that weird shop in Trowbridge that sells cheapo ornaments for the home but has a considerable CD counter of this said genre (had to go to this shop to pick up a Nodens Ictus CD) :o)

Any'ow if anyone has any strong recommendations for an album please forward it here. Got to say for me the best album of 2005 so far is Spatialize - Dryads Bubble, I recommend this :o

Peace

i think it's worthwhile and personally prefer it to entheogenic's old sound, which i find a little bland (and full of mckenna). there's a review at http://www.psy-forum.co.uk/psyforum_vb/showthread.php?t=30773

ott's remixes are best viewed as new ott tunes (and sound great), vibrasphere's one is dead nice, abakus' one sounds nothing like anything entheogenic by any stretch, and you still get a handful of new entheo tunes. One of the better chill packages of the year

Hey Digifrog dude, where do you live then???

I'm from Trowbridge, but know very little about a cheapo ornament shop selling CDs of the chill type!! (unless you mean Knees??) Let Us Know about it, it may warrant a visit. Although I must admit I buy 100% of my music online as Trowbridge\Wiltshire is shit for buying good Psy\Chill...

i love the ott remix (especially the title!! wonder if they realised or was it lost in translation!) and the cover art
there's some shocking literature inside the cover :o

Ahhh hehehe i cant remember the name but it was just inside a small mall type thing, I went in there to buy a Nodens Ictus CD in 2002 that I couldnt find in any record shop here in Bath and no shops in Bristol had it either. ......Um i think 'cheapo' was a little quickfire......i can remember it not being a record shop....but did have a CD counter and everything else they sold was for the home, ornaments and things.

Trowbridge
