Eu-kgb

I doubt anybody will deny that the EC has got a terrible record when it comes to dealing with people who make any kind of noise about corruption or are even thought to be about to make a noise about it.

What do you make of it?

"verbal hyper-productivity" and a "lack of conceptual content" in his speech.

That could describe pretty much any politician :Smile3:

Not at all surprised!

There was that corruption scandal concerning the main Statistics Bureau which funnily enough is meant to keep an eye on trends such as, er corruption. Whistleblowers etc were treated with maffia like techniques.

Scandall? Well only that the whole Western European poliical system works this way from Sweden to Greece, all corrupt all hidden all accepted. Same in the US, look at the Valarie Plame affair, somebody tries to sort out an illegal act and they get hit on. The EU is even less democratic than most institutions, the governments of its members prefer this to keep themselves able to presue illegal and corrupt policies. Grrrrr, rant etc etc etc
