Hello All,
I have just arrived home from helping to steward at the Turaya gathering.
It's the first festival I have helped out at. I have been to quite a few festivals over the years, but Turaya has stood out because of
The very friendly vibe of all present
The amazing site
The variety of activities
The selection of musical acts, live and djs
The collection of incredible structures, tepees, yurts etc.
I found a lot of interesting people to chat to, and all were happy to talk which is a first for my festival experiences.
A big thanks to Great Ruaha for introducing me to the event, Dan (Steward Co-ordinator) for letting me experience the Gathering, Kerry for keeping us laughing during our night shift, Barclay Dark Angel for being a good humoured victim to my bad jokes and most especially to Andrea, James and all who made it happen and to those of you who participated in it and made it such a friendly event.
