doing a clean install of windows for spiong cleaning etc etc,

bit worried that the companies that register the software are going to be an arse

unfortunatly my concerns were true,

battery isn't working cos i can't register it with my old activation code

antares tube isn't working cos i stupidly misplaced the activation email

and to cop it all, waves plug ins don't do hardrive authorisation so im gonna have to buy an ilok!

What happens when you try to register Battery? If you've registered with Antares (or whoever owns them) you should be able to get a second activation mail-out with very little trouble. And what happens with Waves?

- still no email from antares about the activation email

- still no email from native-instruments

- and to use any waves plug ins now, you HAVE to buy a ilok, its the only way they authorize them,

well at least if have another 9 days of demo mode on antares and 29 days on native instuments :Wink3:

would be nice, but im gradually gettting rid of cracks and replacing them with new software, so it seems a bit of a backwards step to use a keygen.

How do these companies want us to buy their products if their after sales service is shite????
Customer service for music products, including mixers and so on, always sucks.... i've been waiting for an aswer from numark for almost 5months... emailed both american and uk offices and phoned and as usual they give you another phone number and nobody can help you cause they dont pick their phone.....

You now what ...... H2O you rock!!!!!!

after doing a bit of home work.

Native instruments, let you deactivate your user (say if you get a new computer) so you can then activate it again on another computer.

But hey presto there online service isn't working at the moment! Woo hoo
