Hate the Dark Soho "Balls in the Dark"

*Happens to be strolling by and stops*

Too true,

But I would mention that you can change style and retain a certain 'Je ne sais quoi' creative impact - regardless of peoples opinions as to whether it's actually good or not.

Impact, I say. Impactless is the new tune though, imo.

Rather forgettable really.

Forgotten.

Gone.

Go.

G's up hoes down.

:smokingr:

I'm looking forward to the album though...

:drinking:

Yes maybe keep certain elements from your past and try and work these ideas a little differently but this new album is totally different from their last and I do like what i have heard. :cooljump:

I've heard this (because I've reviewed it for Upfront), and I think it's good. There's one guitar mayhem track for people like me, a few nice chillout tunes which remoind me of Celtic Cross, some nice neo-fullon stuff, and it still sounds like Dark Soho. Anoushka Shankar's sitar solo makes track 5, and it's a vast improvement on the last album which sounded like a cross between comedy Goth and The Darkness. Boys done well, if you ask me.

mmm, alright it is i guess. a couple of good'uns - the chill are nice, but the full-on is mostly directionless and uninspired.

zeev diukman (dark entity) did leave the band before this album. could explain their dimished power.

I know what you mean about zeev, and you can certainly hear his influence on the one track he *is* on (track 3?), but I think it's a better effort than the last one. Had I not a review copy I'd have bought it, and I certainly advise others who are interested in what it sounds like to do the same. No McSupervisor this.
