Hello from Oberon!

Hi All,
Well, some of may be thinking, what on Earth is a Tech -Trance DJ doing on this forum .......?? Answer is quite simple........ back in the day, (circa 1995) i was quite partial to mixing a bit of Psy , or Goa Trance as it was then known (!!!!) in with my Euro Hard Trance........ skip forward to 2004, and i now have a rather large problem relating to space and a very large amount of records........ i have taken the somewhat heartbreaking decision to sell some of my vynil, and will soon be posting a complete list in the classified section of the site...... there is about 60 12" singles and about 6 vynil albums.....all dating from around 1995... i will be happy to sell them seperately, at a reasonable price, but if anyone fancies taking a large amount at once they will find themselves on the recieving end of a large discount!!! I live in South London, and will be happy to deliver within a 10 mile radius...... check out the post in the classifieds next week.....

hey Oberon...Im assuming its the same Oberon from The Fridge days..Escape From Samsara?

Yeah, it was Samsara which was the first 'club'/'rave' I ever went to, which led me into the psy-trance scene. It was at my first Samsara (October 1999) that I saw Oberon live on stage - and a wicked set that was! Still have the Beamish/Oberon doubleCD...!

One question though, and it may be a tough one...why did you turn from psytrance to tech-trance?

Hey dude, welcome to tha forum. Never saw you from Fridge days, but remember you from when you played Aura Orange in Wolverhampton. Good luck in selling your vinyl mate.

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad to see it's not seen as 'exclusively' for psy-trancers!

I remember some of your old sets with the odd 'psy' influence creeping in - it's a shame the genres have diverged so these days.

BUt, i don't recall Escapr From Samsara ever being psy-trance-- just trance-- but it did spur me onto psy-trance tho, and I've never looked back since...

aaah, i remember the days.....Fridge bar was cool too, until it started getting infested with way too many gay blokes making passes at straight blokes, which does get very annnoying....
Anyways, thanx to them, I didnt go back, and went on to greener pastures...
