My brain has ceased normal operations, and i've been possesed by the need to write cheesy 'bonker's' hardcore...

does anyone else dally in this murkiest of waters, or am i in a minority of one?

Hehe - I got to exorcize that particular demon when I was asked to do some music and sound effects for a film a friend of mine was directing - it was fun, but it gets too easy after a while... plus if you want to put the female vocal in there, it costs you a fortune in helium balloons! :cool:

You'll learn something cool, everyone says don't ALWAYS listen to trance, i reckon its the same for wrtiting it too!

I laboured for ages trying to do trance tunes when really I just wanted to do the mushy old dub that came naturally.

no - i really hate it. It gives me headache, and i can't listen to it, i always wonder how people can listen to hardcore enough to produce it, as the very sound of it does my head in.

However, i slowed it down, and turned it into really dirty midi miliz/m.o.s. style psy, and voila, suddenly, it all makes sense.
