I need some pointers...

I'm in the process of writing New Age music (to the tune of Deuter, William Aura, Ishq), but I need some high quality wav samples. I've searched the net but can only find short or low quality ones. The wav samples I need are from nature, thunder, rainfall, ocean waves, seagulls, birds, etc. Could someone point me in the right direction? or name a decent sound library?

get yourself down the local library and check out their cd section - most library's have the BBC sound fx series available

As the person previous said, BBC sound FX would be perfect for your requirements

or get your hands on a dvd to audio encoder and rip some atmos from some movies.
