introducing to you

yes yes, hellow!

im new too.

come to the party on saturday.

whats your story?

dont have a story really. born and bred in portsmouth, moved to london a few years ago now working as a recruitment consultant in the city. last party i went to was ambivelance record last weekend which was good if a little quiet.

next party on the horizon is kundalini in april

hi there; I've posted a few things up but haven't properly said hello to anyone. So erm.. hi!!
I can't get out loads so manage to live vicariously thru the internet... have joined a few other forums but I like this site a lot - you all look pretty mad!!!
er... been into mind expanding parties since the mid 90's courtesy of Alex P and the Orb but didn't discover psy until 98 at an early Kundalini at Tyssen St....loved it ever since....and now I do a little pr and stuff for Steve K and crew which is wicked... full circle you know?
next party I'm going to is the next Kundalini at the Renaissance Rooms...yeah!!!! tho I spent most of the last one working in the ticket booth so we'll see whether I get to see any more of it this time....
so you're coming too Legendhead?
xx

certainly will be. i know steve well. i'll be there from about 3 o'clock the previouse afternoon setting up i would imagine. i've been to every kundalini for the last 5 years or so. it's the best party in london!

hello legendhead, i am a new psy-surfer here too, this site is exellent, plenty of hardcore nutters to tell stories to, i would be interested in coming to the kundalini partys aswell, jus split with ma woman and need to get bak into the swing of things, if you fancy meeting up at one of these doos please give us a nudge. take care man, be safe, n maybe speak soon me out..............

oh yair n i dig the banksy pic you borrowing, im an artist too. teach young people graff and street art, wat fun , althou it can be rather intense, running a 3 day event down on the south coast soon, which should be good, rallying up support at the mo, gonna be painting the side of a dubble decker bus on the sea front with local talent and a few old fiends!! need a digi-camera so i can show you all, any body interested can contact me here, take care me out.....................

hi there again Legendhead; then I may have met you at the last Kundalini...or saw you anyway. We should all wear name badges... I was working in the ticket booth pretty much all night tho.....but I'm definately at the next one....were you at Kalahari too? I was dancing my socks off rather than chatting much tho it has to be said.....and Kunningtoerag....one of my fav sites at the minute is:

we must of done i spent a number of hours collecting tickets after people bought them before they went in on the door. i missed most of gus till's set doing it. whats your real name?

Vick..I was wearing a lot of pink...I remember a few people collecting tickets yes,, are you helping again?
what is your real name?
xxpink

i hope so if steve needs us we'll be there we had a great time last time my name is andy by the way.

yeah we are gonna need all the help we can get...phewee!! it's gonna be madder than last time...and putting on something like that is all about team work isn't it?! you say us; who is us?
hmmm is your post code real as I don't live too far away from you either... it is a strange old place Kent... have been here for a year and a half and am planning on moving back to London this summer...I don't exactly fit in around here and it's not like I care that much but there is something more comfortable about disappearing into the anonymity of London because there are so many nutters around... rather like a good psy trance party..no matter how much I DRESS UP...someone else is going to be even madder...guaranteed..I love that

it's my real post code i live near sydenham. Us is me and my mates, there was about 8 of us last time. we got a frantic call from steve on the morning of the party saying how many people can you get and how quickly can you get here with them we did a lot of the drapes on the wall in the eart grden and most of the foliage hanging from the ceiling. he knows we are on standby again so we will await his call. he mentioned getting together before hand for tea and cakes don't know when i know he's a busy man.

hi too Kunningtoerag
No none of the pictures on www.picturesofwalls.co.uk are mine; i have two jobs (one role two clients) and the smaller company I work for are called muf architecture / art - they are a radical female led architectural and art based practise specialising in art in social spaces. They were one of the first groups to ever consider doing this; they are great at getting various funds to do proper consultation and for projects within the communities they are working for and they are just fab - it was one of their girls showed me that site. www.muf.co.uk - not exactly Banksy but we all think he is great.
anyway we would LOVE to see you at Kundalini; it is a fab fab thing with an amazing friendly vibe and sure will I am sure help you to get over your ex!!!
xxxx

and Legendhead; I definately spoke to you then as I was also roped into helping put up some drapes in the groove room!! I seem to remember lots of guys getting very efficient with the flower arranging......
hahahaha
xx

hi trixiebelle123, thanks for the info and the webpages, you sure look like you keep busy, i am amazed at the work that MUF do, i finished my fine art degree at "university colledge for the creative arts" in 2004, and since then have been running my own business working in youth clubs and houses with young people on the street art and graffiti tip. Its very rewarding although i am over worked under paid and get alot of people mess about saying they want me to do stuff then cancelling at the last minute, which can get v-frustrating!!!
i am in the middle of organising a graffiti jam on the beach down here on the south east coast and it actually looks like it may go ahead, it is being funded by the council and therefore is all proposals and meetings, but i am confident that it will get the go ahead, fingers crossed!!
the work that you do sounds and looks fantastik, i have applied to do a course with creative partenerships myself (one of the groups you mentioned) they run a course helping artists get work teaching youngsters at school, its a bit fine arty but is another string to the bow, i prefer street art type projects, stencilling or pieceing large scale work but in the community its hard to get as many see it as a negative art form (especially in this area) so its a bit of a slog.
anyway, i would be into the kundalini partys, are there any coming up?? i think alex patterson is one of the best djs on the planet, his choice of tracks and ways of putting them 2gether is amazing and totally original. please let me know when the next Kundalini is on and if you need any help at all i would be only to happy to help out. also if you hear of any work that i may be able to get involved with please do not hesitate to give me a shout (MUF, ETC), well lovley to chat to you take care and hope to see you at one of the partys soon, me out XX

hi there Kunningtoerag; yeah muf are way cool. they are amazing at getting funds from the arts council / creative partnerships / local gov't / dti / private companies to fund art projects in incredibly deprived areas. as soon as I can I will send you a list of email links that you may find useful. I don't do the creative stuff; I am actually their business manager and make sure they don't go bankrupt!! which as you can imagine in that industry is always a possibility!! and my other company are a music company who organise the Ivors and I love them too.
I love Alex P too - the first time I went out raving in 95 (and you know what i mean...coming up to Little Fluffy Clouds was just a MAGICAL full on love the world for all eternity experience) I ended up dancing with him (he had jumped off the stage for a break haha and I had no idea who he was) and afterwards the whole Orb came back to a friend's round the corner and we ended up drinking tea and chewing the cud for the rest of the night...they were just fab...needless to say I haven't looked back since!!!! And he is playing at the next Kundalini which is on the 8th April - please see the UK party forum thread which says:
08/04/06 Antaro The VooV Master Comes To Kundalini :: Renaissance Rooms London
for the full flyer..and check out our beautiful website too
see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
