I came on here a little bit last summer when trying to find people to sell one Glade ticket to and it was pretty useful. I then carried on my normal existence and denied this one; that was until I met someone last weekend that referred to this forum. I've got no idea what her username is, but she was absolutely lovely (and very cute, not that anything was going to happen!!) and we met at the Synergy Project in London. She mentioned here and I thought I'd give it a second go...
So... it does seem to be full of pretty nice people (definitely nicer than some of the other forums out there, but I haven't been here long enough to pick up on all the usual back-stabbing you get) and the range of topics is great! I also love the way in which people seem to be pretty open and lots of you seem to have met up over time. This little (or not-so-little) online forum really is developing a nice community feel to it, which is a great achievement!
What drew you here? Is it what you hoped for? What parts could be developed? What forums did you leave for this place? Have you met some great people through here or does it just exist online for you?
I'm more than aware that I haven't actually introduced myself, but this thread gives you a pretty good idea of how my mind works and how pleased I am to find an interesting, community-based group of people that share one common passion.
You can try and guess who I am as a person and what I do (not that I'm an alias of anyone on here), but you'll all be wrong...
Looking forward to having some great chats on here and hopefully meeting a few peeps in due course (maybe even next weekend at the star...)
