yep - you can pretty much isolate *everything* :Smile3:

try isolating a 2bt weave to get you started.

it ain't easy though and i can only dream of isolated weaves having failed to learn them for about a year now

erg.... from what i have understood of them it is a particular way of spinning the poi so it looks like your hands are going around the poi-usually its the other way round.will try and find a video clip...

*drools* must- learn-more! isolations are by far the wierdest poi trick i have seen.

Like the end of the poi and your hand both gyrate around the centre of the poi string? I actually do that, even though otherwise I can only do a few basic moves. Works very well with sockpoi, which poiwise is the way forward imo! (a sockpoi is a sock with a ball/orange/whatever in it. UV socks are best)

they look wonderful, i love them, and i hate them both at the same time, you just gotta practice i guess...

if you do it with fire chains u cant really see that well, so ur best saving ur energy for the socks!

'not that hard' says the person that is by far the most natural spinner of isolations i know...

but he is right, they only take about a month to get really solid.
