hi,

just been talking to Henri in York tonite. Nice bloke. Anyways he's been telling me that there is no demand for what you people are doing up here where t' weather is cold but t' counrtyside is outstanding and the coppers are polite. I don't claim to be an expert on this subject but I reckon I have got to disagree with him 'cos many a party I have been to in York which just reeks of PSY- trance. I think with summer just round corner you need to do a bit of reaching out.Lets face it all us folk up here of the alternative variety have is TOFFS, THE GALLERY, ZIGGYS, IKON AND FUCKING DIVA! Please do not let those projectile vomitting club names put you off as we are all not in that vein of a lifestyle....


York begs out especially this time of year for an outside communal gathering of celelebrations in the form of likeminded people gathered round bonfire, dancing, talking and meeting new friends!!

have a good long look about, best person to speak to about sorting out parties up north is fusionjulez he was mentioning looking for a site, but there are very few members up north so I doubt anything major will be happening soon..

There used to be a psy night in York called Ribbit - saw Analog Pussy there about 4yrs ago - but it never did very good numbers - partly I think cos the venue shut at 1am! but also there wasnt that much demand in York.

But theres quite abit of psy trance in the Leeds/Bradford area (Cabbage/Kulu/Gecko) - so I could see an outdoor party going on somehwere between York & Leeds doing well.

It would make a change as most of the free party crews up here play techno or house -although Kulu have put on a few outdoor parties & you normally get a morning goa set from Gordie at NTA parties in the shef area.
 
if u hear of anything going on in york please make a posting about it.............christ i jst cant hack the clubs we have in york,

the place needs something new
 
Hey somebody was telling me on Friday that they're gonna be starting up Tsoma again in Newcastle, from September. Dunno how true it is but here's hoping!!

Er... there are, actually, representatives from sunrise, relativity, kulu, alien resonance, cabbage and gecko are on here, all of which are in the north. :)
 
Not forgetting flossy flo who has been pounding away psy trance for more years than he can remember, he was a resident at headcharge, and brought Return to the Source and Spacehopper to the arches in sheffield.

what I like about northern parties is that its so bloody cold outside that everyone inside is so friendly and warm...you can go to any of them on your own... and be comfortable... we all put the milage in to support each other and catch up on the news.....

We have some great friends from sunrise, relativity and kulu..... I heard Bez has some tunes being released soon!

just love them all!!!!!!
