any of you hippies know where you can buy wide necked (preferably porcelain) demijohns with taps suitable for the continous fermentation of kombucha?

ie; not the plastic ones
and also not the ones from harmonic health.

Hi there,

I have brewed kombucha for a couple of years now and use various vessels, all found in second-hand shops as I'm not loaded! Works best in porcelin bowls, with a breathable covering, silk or muslin is best. I have also used glass jugs, old coffee jugs and stone jars. Takes awhile to get your brew right with a new vessel, ie amount of sugar etc. Also have found that making it with green tea with ginsing great for after party energy slump....Would be happy to chat on subject any time

Go for it, HAPPY BREWING!!
