When I was first introduced to psy-trance by Mr Plank, one of the CDs he played me was by Legohead. It is by far my favourite but I've been looking for a while and can't find much by them.

Anyone know anything about these guys and where I can get hold of their music?

Cheers,

Phildo

I'd rather buy legitimate CDs if they're available. Not really into the whole p2p thing any more. Good way to distribute music but sadly the artist doesn't get paid and so loses some motivation towards making more.

Should I have to resort to looking there though, what is the best client to use?

Phildo

should you resort to that, then i have heard that the ones the psy-artists hate most is called soulseek.

No released Legohead album to my knowledge, plenty of tracks on compilations though :)

Legohead.... One guy from Melbourne, Australia. Has been releasing tracks for a number of years now on various labels. Best bet is to try the Aussie labels like Tribeadelic, Zenon Recs. Also released on Fragile Planet Recs here in the UK.

I love his style too. But then Im a sucker for Aussie trance.

Well Legohead, he is taking a bit of a rest from trance at the moment. Although i do know he has an album planned but when it will be released god only knows. I will keep pestering him for tracks and hopefullly have one for the next comp.

There is an album "doing the rounds" at the moment but as for when it is going to be released ligitamitly i have no idea. Its pretty cool but not hugely my cup of tea. Although snooze button rocks the phat one!!!

He seems to be DJ-ing at enough aprties in Oz, so not sure how much of a rest he is taking. He's a part producer with Eskimo and Ozzy on one of the songs on the new Space Tribe compilation.

It mostly sounds like an Eskimo track. You know with those jumps and drawn out beats. Not sure how to explain it - you know what I mean. It's OK.

its got an Eskimo structure with a kind of Eskimo Bass...........laden with loadsa Ozzy, Legohead sweeps, bleeps and all things meep  Starts off ok but young Junya throws the teddy out the pram and gets his way with the stop-start-a-thon......shame really
