Label:

After the awaited release of “Accelerator 2.0â€, compiled by Australian Dj Beka, tried and tested on the dancefloors of Australia, already the tracks featured on this album have been gaining fantastic feedback from dancers all around the world.
And now, place to the legend itself, the mystical, magical Trance couple, Paul and Sonya aka Manmademan. No need introduction for this living myth acting since the creation of Psy Trance movement early in the 90’s.
Here comes a really special concept album which compile remixes of their biggest hits since their creation by most famous Trance artists like Hallucinogen, System 7, Eat Static, Tristan, Silicon Sound, Triptych, Polaris, Tranan and Manmademan themselves.
Elec 3 will be following up with their debut album “Plug & Play†to be released one month after.
Watch out for the third instalment of the Accelerator series…. compiled by the man himself…. Triptych.

Artist:

This really special concept album begins with a remix of, which is maybe the biggest Manmademan’s hit, Desire released on Flying Rhino in 1999, and for this exercise, the best choice of artist is probably, Turbo Trance leading artist, Triptych, recently released on Nano, Alchemy, Mind Control, TIP World! Melding a tight processed voice over a truly funky bassline, his clear and powerful production sets this album up beautifully. Triptych brings Desire blasting into the 21st century.
Next Tristan, one of the most famous Psy Trance artists, affiliated to Legendary Twisted records remixes the track that rocked the floor at the height of the eclipse in 2002 in South Africa. Coming in with a psychedelic vibe that animates this remix, Tristan brings us Creation Myth, with a solid beat and deep rhythm made for dancing: this is Tristan at his best!
Coming after, another dinosaur of the Psy trance movement but also one of the most respected artist on the scene, Eat Static (Planet Dog, TIP, Solstice…), providing us with their remix of Motion Detector. Previously unreleased, the original version is unknown from the public but was played by most of the biggest Psy Trance djs all around the world and made a hit! Truly alien, deep and dark, a pumping groove and hypnotic vocal carry you on a journey through the mind, abducting and taking you to places you've never been before.
And Now make the place for the mythic System 7 (Alpha Wave records), themselves! No need to introduce this project formed by Guitar hero’s Steve Hillage and his wife Miquette Giraudy aka Gong, most famous Psychedelic Rock band in the 70’s cruising seamlessly in with their remix of Feeler, another hit from Manmademan.
Following, The legendary, the Psy Trance godfather, Hallucinogen joins the crew to revisit the fabulous psychedelic Karahana music track in a pure Simon Posford style. Hallucinogen is the man! After so many hits like his unforgettable LSD, his masterpiece album Twisted on Dragonfly records, so many collaborations under different projects like Shpongle, Hallucinogen in Dub, Celtic Cross, The Mystery of the Yeti, Younger Brother… and so many releases on labels like T.I.P, Solstice records, TIP World, the time has come for Turbo Trance records to invite him to collaborate on their projects.
Then, with a killer groove, Polaris (Neurobiotic rec, Maia, 3D Vision, Spirit Zone, Solstice…) presents his remix of Down On Earth. Clear and powerful production introduces a groovy bassline, huge soundscapes surround the vocals before depositing the listeners in an enormous funky groove.
Taking us out with their own remix of William, Manmademan reinvent this classic tune which discovered them in the early 90’s, in their own unmistakable style. In true Manmademan style they neatly arrange the deep and dark alongside the uplifting and sublime That rings out with echoes of Yin/Yang.
Then Silicon Sound, one of the biggest Psy Trance French artist, already known for his releases on Moon Spirit, Neurobiotic, Spirit Zone, 3D Vision… offer us a perfect “Halt production remix†letting the spaces between do the talking, never overfilling, as he leads us into a crafted drop. A melody climbs in and vanishes leaving you rocking, only to re-appear like an old friend. Prepare to be tied down, this beat will get you and keep you.
To finish properly this dancefloors killer’s collection, Tranan (1/2 Logic bomb) was the best choice and his “Arabian Daze remix†help us to land smoothly on earth. Tranan is known for his unique style, spacy but also groovy and already released on labels like Dragonfly, TIP World, Spiral Trax…

I love ManMadeMan so might go for this one, as a token of trust on georgie's statements about the functionality/relevance of remixes he he :green:

but any new album on the pipeline? been some time since the last one!

The only bad thing about this is the time it has taken to be released....

The idea and remixers look absolutely spot on.

Time for more Manmademan!
