Top 10 MMMMmetal!!!

Yeah, you remember Deicide?

Nah, not really - she could've gone somewhere but events conspired against her - i.e lazy guitarists and singers with ego's....

I used to go and watch her play and it was was wierd becuase she loves playing so much that she'd be grinning from ear to ear - quite a contrast to the angry guys on stage with her grimacing with the pain of the mmmmettallll!!!!!!!!!

She had a funk mentality in a death metal band and it was very entertaining bless her! A breath of fresh air certainly....
I on the othe hand have trouble holding a pencil let alone a tune so I'll leave all that to her...

ozric - yeah, i know down fairly well (they've split now though as far as i know). stoner rock at its very best :smoke:

i have a copy of the (official) live tool cd (salival). the dvd is wicked but it just makes me greedy - i want the schizm and parabola videos on dvd in 5.1/dts now!

ant - i saw the melvins supporting tomahawk the other day. epic songs - they were on for like an hour and only seemed to play about four tunes!

queens of the stone age convinced me to listen to kyuss and damn i'm glad i did. the josh homme connection.
kyuss definitely know how to make an album though:

step one: go to desert
step two: start trippin
step three: record album

  :byebye: :headbang:

:juggle:

i saw 'Queens of the stone age' on saturday

man they were cool, very heavy but groovy
my kind of rock, almost as good as kyuss
well actually, no where near as good as kyuss, but still good

I've always found that there is a strong link between people who used to like;

metal and prog rock - and now like psy trance
punk - and now like acid techno
alternative rock - and now like hard trance

I'm sure there a theory in there if anyone could be arsed writing it...!

Eeekkk prog rock! I was definately metal and punk!!

"I shall call it..........the Alan Parsons Project!"
