Hi everyone,
My name is Rae but everyone calls me MOONRAE. I am nearly 25 and from the wonderful Melbourne Australia. Very much into the trance scene here and I am always offering a helping hand at the parties here, whether they be indoor or outdoor! I was on the earthdance committee this year which included me doing spoken word for the openning ceremony as well as being interviewed on television and the radio!

What can i tell you about me?? I am a positive and fun chick - always smiling and most of all always dancing!! Just try and get me off the dance floor!! haha! I currently work at a high school as an integration aid - so i help kids who need extra help in class, I also run my own drama company, teaching kids drama. I am an actor too and have appeared on both stage and television :)

I love living life and facing the challenges and opportunites it throws at me on a daily basis!

I am a practising witch (it is a beautiful and positive thing), i am a trained tarot reader and very much into the spiritual side of things in general, however still keeping 2 feet on the ground. Oh i am a pisces too! And i love the moon!! She is just magick!

I wanted to introduce myself as i am heading over to the UK in February 2004 and well i wanna meet some like minded people and maybe hang out and form awesome friendships. I would love to be involved in helping with parties although i have no idea what to expect!! But thats what i love the best .. the unknown!!!!

Please keep in touch with me... i will make sure i log on here regularly now and i hope to be chatting to you all.

Anything you guys wanna know about me?

Love & Hugs RAE -xxx- :P

WOW guys thanks for the lovely messages!! I arrive in the UK on Friday the 20th of Feb. A friend of mine is picking me up and i can stay with her for a week or so in Reading but from there i have no idea!? I am looking for cheap accomadation somewhere?? Can anyone help me out? Be great to stay with someone who is from the UK who can show me or tell me about all the cool things to see and do (without me having to go through silly bus tour groups etc) I will also be looking for a job too so if you know of any please pass it on to me....

For the moment my email address is pisces79@optusnet.com.au but this will change once i start my travels. I will keep you all posted.

I also have messenger please add me.... moonrae79@hotmail.com

I am glad i logged on to this site cause it makes me feel a bit more secure that i will find some great and wonderful friends and maybe a place to stay! (Fingers crossed!) I am happy to experience all places in the UK so location isnt an issue for me!

Thanks guys! Please be in touch

Im sure Julz or Barclay could let you know about what Reading fully has to offer.

If you fancy the mission Oxford only 30 mins away.. and there you can find Baraka. ;) *plug *plug Baraka WebsiteWe'll definately have some parties running around the time you arrive. Aside from that, Project Ozma, and The Fushion soundsystem Im sure will keep you entertained.

Hey Guys,
My plans have changed slightly and i am not going to Reading to stay when i arrive I am going to Surrey i think it is... a friend of mine lives there or near there and he is picking me up from the airport and taking me to his place. My friend in Reading is coming home earlier then i thought so i had to change... What is Surrey like?

Looked at the Baraka site.... bring on the parties I say!! I have had experience in event management here in Melbourne so if you need anyone else to help etc let me know...

Cheers
Love & hugs RAE -xxx- :P

oh damn you arrive 3 days after my birthday </plug> too late to come and party with us :( you're going to love england though, you'll be drinking tea and moaning about the weather in no time i'm sure :)

huw .x

Hehe Surrey you say - thats where I grew up. I think its quite a nice place, though a wee bit boring and, um, 'normal' - no psy-trance parties I'm afraid, none of that sort of thing really.
Still, apart from areas where pikeys/townies are out in force, its a tranquil suburban idyll ;) and is very convenient for London, but far enough away to be removed from the rather hectic pace of life in the big smoke. Sunday afternoons in quiet pubs in the 'countryside'...mmm...

Anyway, if you haave any more specific questions PM me...

Hope everything goes well for you! :)

free parties in england can be very cold
especially when your in a forest on top of a hill being harrassed by horrible men in uv jackets with truncheons (bastards)
ill stop ranting now

I am looking forward to the ups and downs of the parties in the UK!!! Bring them on I say! I always try to smile even in the toughest circumstances.... So it is allllll good!

Love & Hugs RAE -xxx- :P
