Sad 7Zuma7 are no more! Same with Celestial Ceason! What's up with those Dutch disbanding lately eh??

An Playing 35007-Liquid now! :punk:

thanx - cheers - playing this at a festivalcamp somewhere late in the morning is such a good tripswitch - disclaimer: makes your beard grow as well :)

:smokingr:

btw: still waiting for a psy festival with a stoner stage - ofcourse the more hypnotic bands - that would be sooo nice - ozric, hidria, hawkwind, 35007, monkey3, circle - I mailed some big organisers with this request, but probably it just won't happen ...

Hey couldn't agree more there! :jump:
Actually, I do have the same idea;
a psy fest involving all sorts of psy! :smokingr:

Have the DJs but also have live bands playing!
It would be such a nice sound change and could work a treat I reckon!
It would be like another kind of chill stage!

Def something to try! :)

I mean imagine even just a dj set with all the above bands plus Acid Mother Temple, Subarachnoid Space, Amon Dull, Lamb of the Universe etc
Pure organic psychedelia! How much live...

Come to think of it, I remember a party in a farm in England, where they had a band playing live with some amazing female vocals and it was such a welcoming change from the doof doof of the main stage! Don't get me wrong; I love my doof as much as the next person but it was so cleansing to hear something different yet psy all the way before going back digital! :punk:

Any organisers out there??
Think this should be moved to General Discussion!

PS:Yeap I forgot Monkey3 ;)

Going the other way - Hawkwind have had quite a few dance acts & Djs on at their festivals - in fact it was quite common at smaller uk festivals to have bands AND Djs/dance stuff going on.

Fully agree with you about live music -At Zambian Solipse there were a few live bands playing and at first Samothraki Loop Guru (with Rat Scabies on Drums...) played on the second stage - which was all good!

Psy party with all sorts of Psy :) It's been done to some extent by Liquid Connective when they had Ozric Tentacles and SUN Project on the same bill at the Rex. I was playing in the Space Rock room mashing up some 60's and 70's sounds. I also remember all the Hawkwind Technicolour Dream events at the Brixton Academy in the early to mid 90's, absolute class, one year they had Mega Dog doing the dance music, the year before it was Spiral Tribe. Lots of bands played in those days. More recently, the SGC parties have included all sorts of psy, but these are usually house parties, and attendance is quite small... :party2: :partysmi: :shrooms: :peace: :smokingr:

Not straight psy trance - though a fair bit got played - The recent SHEFSTOCK/NTA V Zogg free party/festival had bands on the main rig during the afternoon/evening and then DJs from midnight through the night/morning - plus a couple of extra rigs! Top night it was... and nice to have bands on during the afternoon/eve
