Need scary animal sounds/samples

Hi, I am etempting to create sound track for some scary ambience at a halloween do. I need some sounds to work with though. Screatch owls, wolvs etc
Any one got any ideas where I might find some samples(preferably free)?

Sample them from scary DVDs?

Take an MD and a microphone to the Zoo?

Make the sounds yourself. Better warn your housemates/ parents beforehand! :irofl:

Find sounds.com has just the things I am looking for.
Would love to get my hands on a MD player to do field stuff but the nearest thing I can do is hang a mic out the window. Unfortunatly all I will probably get is heathrow airport.:ilol:
Although most of the sounds I want are natural I will be enhancing+egsagerating some of them with some synthesis.
