New rocking tune

Cheers bud - top choon, I'd buy that for a dollar ;)
:partysmi:

very nice :punk:

my favourite bit is the breakdowny bit which starts at about 6:10. it was a little bit repetitive for my liking but thats just a matter of taste so not really one to worry about

all in all it was proper bo' like :)

Thanks peeps.
Haven't heard on trance and roll will have to get a listen to it so time.
Its just one of those riffs I had to do something with, even if it turns out shit.
I even remixed Robbie Williams once. :o Oh the shame

Nice one bud, that's a seriously good reworking of a rock classic. I'd been expecting it to be an Iron Maiden remix or something similar knowing your disturbed musical tastes ;)

I'd have to agree with the above comments about the breakdown around 6 mins - really makes the whole tune :D

Nice.

I enjoyed this, even the missus came into the room to find out what I was playing. She gave it the thumbs up as well.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers. I'm glade that you are all licking this one as I was a little bit apprehensive about it what with it being a cover and all.

I will post some more up soon but We are currently experiencing probs with my bros computer which is the machine that is connected to the web so when that’s sorted out there should be some more up.
Including a very experimental ambient one

intro is teh funk :D

i love the percussion throughout. chunky & funky, and plenty tough enough. the guitar sounds are really well resolved. the bassline is suitably fat, and the tune has a real party atmosphere, which is also in keeping with the original ;) bonus points!

needless to say i like the psychedelic echoey synths from 2:00 onwards... and the little fast-strumming sample you use to bridge between song parts is really effective, i bet it would sound wicked on a big rig.

there's something nostalgic about it - and not just the samples ;), the acid-y synths have an aphid-moon feel about them.

the shrooming sample made me involuntarily eject coffee all over my spankin' new keyboard!!! lol that's fuckin class! i love the tough bassy synths that come in at around 5:00.

the break is top, i don't think i can add anything to what's already been said except my vote of confidence ;) great stuff!

bang on!

I would like to state now that I cannot be held responsible for any beverage related damage you may experience. :D

feck, i was just going to DEMAND a new 'board as well... ;)

"psyfi will not be held responsible for any unintended consequences resulting from the misuse of his/her product. for external use only. avoid contact with skin, eyes, and consciousness"

Dam that just made me spit coffee over my keyboard. :P
Very manly coffee at that by the way :!: :P

Top bloody notch m8!
Verrrry cheeky but thats OK, so long as it rocks and it clearly does.
More!

I'll be completely honest with you, the bits with the guitar sample were nowhere near as good as the bits you wrote yourself. :)

I thought the intro, the breakdowns at 2:00 and 6:00 and the synth that mimicks the guitar at about 7:10 were wicked, loved it. As soon as the guitars came in however I felt the tune lost something.

I'd love to hear more of your original work, some of those twisted ambient noises hidden in the tune were superb :D
