I have just excitedly read the blurb - and discovered to my dissapointment that it looks completely pointless! Why would I want to integrate all of my VSTs under one fiddly NI interface? Plus it seems like the hardware box that comes with it is only really there to stop piracy - it doesn't have any real DSP functionality - just a few regular controller nobs (good tactic I guess). Considering the hype I though this was going to be the best thing since sliced bread...

I agree. It's basically a (rather limited IMO) controller with a soundcard built in.

I don't want immediate access to the NI presets since I mainly build my own, so that is pretty-much useless for me.

Unfortunately, it's not the 'extra processing power' a lot of us hoped it was.

It has a few effects but not much else by the sound of it. I suppose including DSP for onboard VSTs would have been tricky as everyone would need new versions of their VSTs optimised for the particular DSP used. I just noticed an announcement of Phrazor: http://www.kvraudio.com/news/5030.html Doesn't this seem pretty similar (minus the hardware box)?
