The history of our company reflects innovation and progress in Hydrometry. In 1873 Mr Albert Ott established the Institute for Precision and Measuring Technology, A.OTT. The first instrument, a current meter from 1875, is still recognised as a cornerstone in the field of hydrometric measurement technology. To produce quality, State-of-the-Art technology has always been our main target. This has been achieved by maintaining our philosophy to recognise and support our customers' needs.
Subsequently we have become Germany's largest independent producer of complete hydrometric systems. Today ISO 9001 certifies our quality standard for products and services.Together with our subsidiaries and representatives we supply effective and efficient solutions within Hydrometry and Meteorology to more than 100 countries around the world.
The basis and guidelines for us to develop these solutions are driven by our customers' needs. How do we know about these needs? - The customers frequently tell us on-site or while visiting us in Kempten.
