Absolutely excellent...
and a very serious release!

I was expecting a belter and Phase 2 exceedes expectations. Mouth watering collaborations between the likes of Dj Mack and Gabrielle from Wrecked Machines ( Brain XL) and a release from Wrecked Machines that brings them back to the standard they are capable of - staying clear of the 'Spun records' sound that has characterised some of their recent releases! Well done!

Species delivers a rocking tune - with bucket loads of novelty that will rock dance floors in the early morning! And a nice remix by them also of the pleidians track Alcyone. But its Unison (aka Pan Papason) and Etnica who steal the show with pounding night time tunes, great electric noises and fantastic composition - can't wait to hear more from Unison.

If there are dissaponiting tracks for me they are the last two by Strider (very Techy) and O.T.C.

GET THIS CD if you like serious music!

Unison are two good friends Pan and Nectarios.
They got together in Nectarios' studio last november and had some fun making fast tunes. This is the first Unison tune that is getting signed but there are a few more on CDRs.
Unison's future is uncertain as Pan moved from the UK to a hotter climate and Nectarios is very busy in the studio making breakbeat, techno... psychoactivefunk music in general that deviates the 145 BPM doof doof thingy. The Vigi & Nectarios remix of Nectarios' "Phoenix" reached the #1 spot on Mixmag's breakbeat charts and #5 spot on DJMag's charts, getting airplay on big radio stations like BBC Radio1, Kiss FM, Capital, Ministry of Sound radio...etc).
Pan is currently working on his own and with other friends making more fast tunes and very good ones too!
Check out Pan's future output as he is one to watch in the future for sure. :)

Peace out.

ooowwwwwwwww ... this is certainly a nice gem !! havent really listened to much of the etnicanet machine in recent years but after hearing some lovely tunes at antiworld/psygate when pan/etnica/plaedians graced the bill (may??) my ears picked up !! ...
listening to it on and off in car, and a sweaty drive to brighton today allowed me much ear-viewing pleasure ... track one - brainXL is smashing .. (released b4 ??) dunno but great stuff ... marked more than half the album as possible gooduns to play out ... track 2 is a nice cheaky number with 'that tune' sampled in it - think it a classical piece that might be more famous for its run on computer games from way back ... track 6 (mite be etnica) is a corker if a i remember ... will have to have another listen and look at track listing in morning and add a few more remarks :?
not too impressed by cover artwork thou ... overall : quite good !!

xx
