Waah ?
REAL AUDIO ????? ( traitor !!! )

The MP3 link on your site is broke, gizza MP3 mate !!

Sorry can't infect my machine with real player.
( I also boycot .wma )

S'gotta be .MP3, or .OGG for me !

Looking forward to hearing it though Marc, I' expecting good things, knowing your style.

Rob.

Yeah I know, I have the alternative on Windows, I just hate the format, and being the geeky x-term fancying linux snob that I am......

Oh OK, I'll D/L it, but please post the MP3 sometime, eh ?

The link was addressed to the world in general (I know sooo many people who hate RealPlayer :Wink3:)

You're making me feel like I held a knife to your throat! :P

LOL

That's because I am incredibly anal about that sort of thing !
 .rm ? :? .wma

Still aint D/l'd yet, but will when I get home .

will sort out the mp3 at somepoint, only used real to get the size down.... currently had to take my mp3s down as it turnd out my mixpage had been caught by google [being an ac.uk it gets prioritised in results] and 90% of the bandwidth of the segment the box is on was being taken up with folk grbing my mixes :/

*oops*

peace,
marc

After an impressive 5 minuite download ( OK five mins for an hours music - I gotta admit real audio gets it out there fast ! ), another wickid mix from Marc !!

Only given it the one listen so far, as I was tidying my flat, but loved it, the whole thing.
If you previous submissions are anything to go by, I've a feeling I'll be playing this for some time.

Thanks for another wonderfull insight into your taste in music.

Marc, if your looking for a method of distribution, have you considered the fileshareing netwoks at all ? ( It what they are there for, after all ! ).

You could post a link to a .torrent of it on here / you site, and not have people downloading your tune hammer the bandwith of here / your site ?

Laters.
Rob

Glad to hear ur liking the mix urk :Smile3:

I started fiddling with bitorrent for the first time last week... have to say the thought of using it to share my own stuff hadnt really struck me .. doh! What do u think the best network to use would be / are many people familiar with bitorrent ? Also to share my own stuff do I have to have torrents premanently running ?

peace

....Still after an MP3 mind !

I reckon it's worth a try (.BT), especially if you are as you said, suffering from bandwidth degredation from people grabbing your mixes all the time.

I think it would work better for larger files (or may be more worth doing large files ) Like maybe all your mixes, high quality, in one torrent.

You would need to seed your totrrent full time, yes ( or it would be better, if not 100% obligatory ) I guess this could be on a webspace though, not nesasarily on your poor PC at home !, then the more people that D/L it, the faster the torrent gets ...

Ive not heard the cut chemist thing you mention - is La Haine a mix ?
La Hain ( The Hate ) is a French film that charts a day in the life of three ethnically diverse youths, living in a ghetto, just outside Paris.
It is without doubt one of my favorite films of all time.
ooh you'll be pleased to know I finally got an mp3 up too !

Nice One !!, will grab in the morning, got 2 people waiting for cds.....
Cheers, look forward to the next.....

Night Night

Quick heads up on La Haine, coz if you don't knows, get to knowzit !

http://frenchfilms.topcities.com/nf_La_haine_rev.html

Been doing some digging on the tune I mentioned, and it's a remix of Edith Piaf's "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien," and KRS1's "Sound of Tha Police".
Not an obviuos pairing but it really works. Can't believe that it was omtted from the CD, the scene used on is a really powerfull part of the film.
Oh, and I know think it was by "cut killer " not " cut Chemist ", as I previously reckoned .

Before my catastrophic disk crash, I had it on MP3, my brother might have a copy, so I'll see if I can blag it for ya... it needs be heard.

Oh yeah - and if your bandwidth peaked today, it's coz Random Monkey is D/Ling all your tunes at high speed.
