Studio Collaboration?

:D Hey there,
I'm looking for anyone in the Oxford area who is into homestudio production and is interested in a collaboration. :lmao:
I've been doing this for 4-5 years now and would say I'm at almost professional level of production. I've been sending things out to labels but very slowly and tentatively as I want to wait until I'm really ready. :smoke:
I've been losing enthusiasm a little lately from slaving away on my own too much, and want to be reinspired - the people I usually work with are either stressing out on their finals or are going away travelling for a number of months. :no:
I've experimented in a few different genres and would consider any style really - especially anything that could be considered psychedelic. I haven't made banging trance before, but am really into messing with synths and would enjoy having an go. It could be a two-way learning experience!

My studio runs Logic, and I've got a decent mixer, a Virus access, access to a Supernova and an A-station, limited outboard fx and software. My monitors are way too small but I may get some new ones in the near future.

i've been told theres some sort of underground man love dungeon in Oxford, and they've been luring in "Greenpeace" types for horrific scientific mutation.


Or am I just gullible??
 
... well you don't have access to it anymore... just flogged it on ebay at a 10 quid profit! :lol1:
 
Lucky bastard Tom, buy it for cut price, use it for a few months and sell it for more - the best way to deal with 2nd hand equipment!

:P Should have something playable soon - but u know, @ times its like pushing a turd through a hose-pipe... but thank fuck my computer has come back from the dead :lol1:

do you mean the Coven? they used to do that, but now they don't have a man-love-dungeon-license, just a normal alcohol one now. NOW they have the most awesome psychedelic night in Oxford there once a month, it's called Baraka... (plug plug plug...)
Good luck with your collaboration dudes - I met some particularly good collaborees(?) in Oxford when i lived there; I miss those dreamy spires and pissed pikeys!
