On official review of the label apparently:

“ if i was not sure that this is my best album ever and had not played every single track in parties with a successfull reaction on the dancefloor than expected , it would have been impossible for me to release it on mind control , the label in which i put all my trust....i gave all my best in this album , and the response of the public when i’ve played it during my live acts comforts me in this idea. †§ dj lestat .
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
the man sounds like the doors became too small for him...better gotta be good!!

so how is it so far?

Spooky - I'm listening to it for the first time now...

Currently on track 6 (A Frenchman in Cape Town) (which is building nicely) but...oh my god, i think someones just started yodelling.... i'll let you know more when it's finished... I'm going back to play on the facts thread.

;)

I think Lestat's music has improved recently, much more my style than the first realase.

Only heard 'frenchman in capetown' and it's a lovely funky outdoor africaan sound, perfect for the forest.

Ive been much more impressed with Talamascas recent releases on various comps, and when he's colaberated with other artists so i'm looking foward to this album! :)

I thought Zodiac was a right let down... So I didn't buy it. But I listened to the samples on this and thought it was definetly worth checking. Zodiac just seemed like souless banging nonsense but this sounds much more like Talamasca from Musica Divnorum and b4... Better with more melodies and feeling, Well impressed with his track on Nano wind up too... Hurry up postie I want this one!! :D

I got made in Trance at the full moon fetsival, and I think its a good album. The 4th track is a great for guitar lovers, very hard guitar sound and even a long solo on top of it. The song is called action!

My favourite is the time hunter which develops nicely and has gote some nice melodies, I MISS MELODIES in trance soooo much :(

Overall a good album 7.5/10 I would give, but his set was incredible at fullmoon :)

Cedrik will be playing 10:30pm at the Glade on the Friday night...

Don't miss him, his presence more than makes up for any mis-noma's in his sound...

He's a Warlock don't you know?

Grab yaself a copy of Polaris's album :)

Goakev you sould be a sales man!

I also thought the melodic style has died away so i just got myself a copy of the polaris album along with the hydrophonic one of couse!

Views of the talamasca album are a lil bit sketchy (acoording to this thread), but i did listen to the snipets at chaos.u. aand i only found 2 or 3 tracks i liked, that guitar one sound realy cool tho!

Nicely done! :D I've heard a fair bit of the hydrophonic album and am currently thinking no.4 is my fav! Top class production throughout!
Ya might wanna have a look at Silent Spheres album "Dance" on Medium Records aswell. :)

:D Sorry dude

If u havent got the Tikal album, work harder and earn some more damn it! :P You need that album! (thats if u dont mind vocals), (that I personally dont find cheesy, more uplifting :) ) G'wan, u know u wanna! :D

Tikal Rocks for sure, especially the new Nano track- wiv ya there barcs...

But back to the subject in hand...
after listening to the new Talamasca CD for a bit, I definetly rate it...

MADE IN TRANCE CD - TALAMASCA (& FRIENDS) --> MIND CONTROL RECORDS

1 THE AWAKENING
2 UNKNOWN
3 HYPNOTIC CONTROL
4 ACTION !!!
5 KUNG-FU LESSON
6 A FRENCHMAN IN CAPETOWN
7 LESTAT SOUND DEVELOPMENT
8 TIME HUNTER
9 THE MESSENGER

Wicked Opening for the New Mind Control Record Label..
(Nomad and Lestat split from 3D Vision, who knows the dirt then?? did they have a fight with Cristof in the playground??)

Unknown is my fav for sure an absolute peach of a track everything in the right place plenty of trance melodies, building and leading, just perfect.
But Awakening, Hypnotic Control, Frenchman In Capetown, Lestat Sound Develop (hardcore) are all really good for sure.
Action was a little to much of a guitar fest for me, and Time Hunter had one to many pitch shifts, a little to uforic for me, as well as ripping the riffs out of Time Stimulation, and adding some bits which aren't so good. Time Simulation was the best on Musica Divnorum, but somehow Time Hunter is the worst for me on this CD. Anyhow nuff said, I was "kicking up some dust" at Glade and I had my fav lost in dance moment, so good stuff thanx lestat. :) What needed to be done after Zodiac, put some melodies into Trance. :!:
