Talpa

It's fully outstanding and might be a little too much for a D.J to chew.

Go ahead punk, make my day.

:smokingr:

i've been trying to mix it at home, and it's not that bad. you just lose a lot of the running times, as there are lots of beatless intros and whatnot. you get like ~5 minutes of beats to match when all is said and done. "Rebirth" sounds evil in the mix when you're playing noisy stuff like Shift.

i'm not so keen on a few tracks, like "First Ray of Light" and "The Moon". the former has that flute lead that just sounds weak, and the latter isn't really my style as a whole.

the rest are ACE. Talpa has this way of using disjointed rhythms to lead you up to a huge drop where all the melodic chaos drops in. his tracks stomp and then stomp some more when they peak. my only regret with the IM influence is that Talpa also exits peaks a bit too quickly sometimes. like IM, you don't always get the payoff you expect.

mmm, i've been mixing this with the misted muppet and other fast paced lunatic end of set type stuff

trust no goblin sits really well with towards the castle and some of the other later tunes

t'will be banged out at eufluoria me thinks.

<end blatant plug>
