i am small and i have a suffiecient lack of funds, which is a bum becuase i would quite like to go to the psytrance and breaks thing on saturday.

on the other hand why is the sky blue?

someone tried to fob me off with a story about reflection from the sea but i'm not convinced.

Its refraction of sunlight through air ... int he same way that you pass light through a prism and gt the colours of the rainbows air does the same thing but only presents you with the blue portion of the light. This is why, as the sun gets lower in the sky, you get different coloured skies ... different water contents (and other gases) cause different amounts of refaction allowing for yellow and red sunsets ...

i still don't fully understand why it's blue of all colours.

why not pink?
or green.

i'm not complaining about blue but if i had it my way it would be green.

Then i suggest you look up refraction Its a fairly simple concept ... you just happen to be int he right place only to see the seperated blue end of the spectrum ...
