my waves plugins are now replaced with a pop-up...
"cant find requested filter. did you move the plug-in file?"
i didnt move jack.
anyone got any ideas, before i try re-installing...?

I've had lots of similar shitforsaken problems with Waves in the past - I think I found that it was all down to the DX wrapper that waves uses. I think I may have installed an updated version of the wrapper or something to get everything working again. This seems to have fixed all the problems including the nastiest of all - 'serious problem has occured' one which mustr have been being caused by waves I think.
