unrelated - a modem question (which is better)

I have a BT voyager 100 adsl modem - and am being offered an Alcatel speedtouch 330.

Do i need to swap, or is mine ok - or is the alcatel better?

If the current modem works then you'll notice eff-all difference. I'd only bother swapping if your BT modem is flaky, dropping connections or the drivers are causing conflict with other software.

I have both of those modems and I can assure you there is no basic advantage to either.

I choose to run the BT Voyager cos it functions as a router - meaning me and Zoe can have totally independent internet connections.
