Hi Guys,
to let you know I have updated the tips and tricks section on my website.

Especially for all you guys that are newly into production, check the "Ask Dr Bill" section for Trance production tips.

Cheers,

I'm just stoked that Bill and I see basslines in a similar way!

old, old thread...

Addendum : And a how to do formant-type stuff with a bog-standard subtractive synth - yay!

hey Bill - thanks for putting that up there ! totally diagnosed my condition - i've had loopitis for ages that's really stopped me from finishing my last tune. Instead of binning it I've just put it away for a few weeks and will come back to it (when i can bear to listen to my immacualately produced bassline again)

getting onto something else and just going with it - sounding good so far... will try doing the mixing and engineering when the tune is written.. heheh

thanks again!!
