I'm sure you're all very relieved. What is this site, something like Alcoholics Anonymous?

I found this site through a boredom-inspired Yahoo search for UK forums - you wouldn't believe the crap I had to sift through to find it - Gardening forums, fishhing forums, even a GROUNDWATER FORUM (what the hell do they talk about in there?!) came up higher on the list than this one.

Anyway, greetings and salutations, and all that. I'm a notherner, a geek, and not a lot else. Here's a poem to introduce myself and start me off in a new forum site:

Come one and come all, gather round, don't be shy,
There's a new member here, no other than I,
I'm a rocker, a toff, and also a geek,
But I have lots of slots of free time in my week.

So I came to a forum, to help pass the time,
To occupy space in this dead life of mine,
For sure you'll all know me, before very long,
And I think that you'll like me, I hope I'm not wrong!

Of course, if you don't, then please do as you will,
Ignore me or flame me, or just have me killed.
For if you track me down, if you trace my IP,
then you only prove you're even sadder than me!

But aide with the quips, and the quick-witted rhymes,
I should introduce myself, tell you my crimes,
but I've run out of room, in my four blocks of verse
So you'll just have to ask me, or fear the worst!

I here the computing department is kinda good?

And you heard wrong. It sucks. But I graduated so I doesn't cares no more.
 
Fine, get off on knowing something I don't then.

I've been fishkake for about a decade, and I can't think of anybody I know called Rich, so I guess you're smoebody who picked me up in another forum or chatroom or somethng.

(I'll also admit I scoured though your profile, googling everything I could find to try and find out who you were! But the rules I make apply to others, not myself.)
 
You should get one. They're great.

I should inform you, as well as the rest of this forum, that I cannoy claim to be a fan of psy-trance. Truth be told, I don't even know what it is really - all dance music kinds of blends into one with me. There are exceptions though, and I'm always up for new experiences.

I only came here seeking a forum to post my drivel in...
