right... well take it from me, drugs is a major element of most parties i go to, although i personally dont take them anymore. and who would be blatent about it, especially in a club with bouncers.

i still think that you cant appreciate psytrance unles you've heard it at a decent volume, playing someone a track on an mp3 player who has never heard it wont understand what it is that you like about it, nor will they understand what it is like to be in the middle of a dance floor which is in full swing.

Oh I don't doubt that - its psychodelic after all. People come to these parties to take drugs sometimes pretty specifically, I've met people who've said that in different words.
I'm the same - I'm pretty sober these days, I'm all about the hippy shit and the music. I've tried out all the stuff I wanted to, had a few bad trips, changed my mind and stopped. [/off-topic ramble].

good point, it's the same with lots of music. i can understand why people might not like psy if they havent been at an outdoor party at sunrise off their head on acid with the best music being pumped out at 25k.
